Το Fantasy Shop Βικτωριας και ο Captain της Ελληνικης αποστολης σε καλουν σε ενα τουρνουα προετοιμασιας-επιλογης για την ομαδα που θα μας εκπροσωπησει στην Γερμανια. Αν το ονομα σου στην κατωθι λιστα , παρακαλω οπως επικοινωνησεις μαζι μου στο "γνωστο" τηλεφωνο ( η στειλε ΠΜ ) .

Προσπαθησα να βαλω ανθρωπους που δεν ηταν την προηγουμενη φορα αλλα και που θελω να τους δω. Δεν μπορω να κανω τουρνουα 26 θεσεων δυστυχως ( και 16 ειναι πολυ , δεν υπαρχει χορος ;( ) . Ουτε εγω παιζω για να μπει ακομη ενας . Δυστυχως δεν εχουμε μεγαλη "γκαμα" σε στρατους απ'οτι βλεπω . Μπορει να αλλαξω και 1-2 στρατους θα δουμε .

Σας παρακαλω ΠΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΑΡΑ πολυ , οποιος δεν μπορει να ερθει ας μου το πει μεχρι την Πεμπτη ( 5/2 ) . Ολοι σας θα μου στελνετε την λιστα σε PM και θα υπαρχει ΜΙΑ στα χερια σας οταν βρεθουμε . Το ωραριο θα ειναι ΠΟΛΥ αυστηρο καθως το μαγαζι μας κανει χαρη για το τουρνουα ( thanks Wink ) και εμεις πρεπει να σεβαστουμε τον "εργαζομενο" την μερα 'κεινη .

Restrictions on the composition of the army

Army restriction
No army can be doubled, no SOC allowed.

Army size: 2000/2250/2500 points (depending on category, see below) with open or semi-secret (assassins, fanatics, magic items, demonic gifts etc. are kept secret) rosters pending captains vote.

General composition rules

- Armies are 2000/2250/2500 points.
- No characters that are: special, named or Albion
- No DoW or RoR in non-DoW armies .

- Rare choices may not be repeated, except for HE, where they can be repeated once for each choice.
- Max. 2 of the same Special choice.
- Max. 3 of the same Core choice, except ranked infantry without missile weapons and beast herds.
- Max. 3 units of chariots (incl. characters).
- Max. 9 PD/10DD in an army *
- Max. 3 units of flyers (incl. characters)
- Max. 45 models with missile weapons with a range of 20”+ (not incl. war machines).
- Max. 5 warmachines.

*Magic description
You can use a maximum of 9 power dice in each magic phase. Each bound spell you use count as 1 power dice, all following bound spells used in the same turn counts as 2 power dice.

Every ability that grants the bearer complete knowledge of a single lore counts as one power dice in each magic phase.

All dice you would not normally generate, such as 2nd gen Slann free dice, Skaven warpstones, night goblin mushrooms, power of darkness etc., also count in the total number of dice you can use in a magic phase.

Tomb Kings count each dice they use for a spell as 1 power dice and casket of souls counts as 2 dice total. They can not chose not to use all the dice when casting an incantation, for example a Liche Priest can’t choose only to use 1 dice on a spell. You can how ever choose not to cast a spell with a model. The 2 basic power dice all armies get only counts if they are used to dispel RIP spells with.

Max 10 dispel dice per army. First dispel scroll (and similar working items) you have in your army counts as 1 dispel dice, in EACH magic phase. The second and all other scrolls, counts as 2 dispel dice in each magic phase. So if you have 3 scrolls you can use a maximum of 5 dispel dice each magic phase. Dice from magic resistance does count in this maximum. Being allowed to reroll your dispel dice counts as 2 dispel dice.

Dice removed by the Chaos Dwarf Chalice of Darkness count as dice used. You remove 3 power dice, you can use only 6 more in your magic phase.

Race specific:
DAEMONS OF CHAOS - Bloodthirster with Immortal Fury, Keeper of Secrets with Siren Song and Lord of Change with Will of Tzeentch count as an additional hero choice; Herald BSB may take either daemonic gifts or a daemonic icon, not both; Daemonic Gifts may not be duplicated (except for Spellbreakers); Horrors are limited to 0-2.
DARK ELVES - Ring of Hotek counts as 3 dispel dice each phase; every assassin after the first counts as a hero choice; Shades limited in unit size to max. 10 models; the Pendant of Khaleth counts as a hero choice.
EMPIRE - Steam Tank counts as two Rare choices
ORCS & GOBLINS - Max 6 goblin fanatics.
SKAVEN - Max 3 ratling guns; Jezzails count as war machines (ratio 4:1, always rounding up)
VAMPIRE COUNTS - The Drakenhoff banner counts as an additional hero choice; the Helm of Commandment counts as an additional hero choice if taken on a Vampire Lord.
WOOD ELVES - Treeman Ancient counts as Treeman.

The ladder system:
All armies are divided into three categories; A, B and C. Category A armies are limited to 2000pts, B to 2250pts and C to 2500pts.
When calculating victory points at the end of the game, once you have the result, then add 10% to any category A army's losses (e.g. 1234 would become 1234+123,4=1357) rounding off as normal. Any category C army would conversely have its losses reduced by 10% (e.g. 567 would become 567-56,7=510).

Open or semi-secret rosters:
The AR committee thinks that open rosters are the way to go for ETC 2009 but suggests a seperate captains vote on this question (apart from the vote on the AR). Most of the criticism against the notion of open lists was centered on things like "removes lots of fun", "I don't like it", "strategic thinking lost", "forces players to take the hardest combos", "no surprises" etc.
We agree that for some players it is more fun to have to guess what exactly is coming at them, but still think that the benefits of open rosters far outweigh these points. Last year there were 18 teams in total (including "team UN") - meaning no less than 144 army lists. This year, even more countries have announced their participation, which is great, but will make it even harder to keep up with all those army lists. Open lists make the matches a lot more friendly, since no one can claim their opponent tricked them about one or the other item. Language would be less of a problem - since all armies would fully be in English. Also, it's not necessarily true that there would be less strategy involved - most of the combos are self-explaining anyway and the game would involve even more player skill - you can't simply win because of some surprising item combo, but have to outthink and outmaneuver your opponent (and those "surprising combos" are most of the time not surprising anymore after the first match - considering all that gossip ). And let's be honest - most of the armies pack the hardest combinations anyway, since we're talking about the ETC.


The basic restrictions:
We tidied up the AR a lot, moved some things together to make them easier to use.

The Power Dice limit has been returned to 9, because this has so far worked very nicely, also, we've taken the section on "abilities with +x to cast count as PD" out. We still think that the complete knowledge of a magic lore should count as a PD, because one of the key risks of magic in Warhammer is getting "good" spells - something ehich these abilities make a mockery of. The rule for bound spells has been improved - now every bound spell after the first counts as 2 PD, which makes armies with a lot of bound spells (War Altar + Warrior Priest, anyone?) a lot less effective...

The maximum for flyers is needed in our opinion so the game will not degenerate any more into a kind of "Hit-and-Run"-game (call it 40k, if you like... ). With the new possibility of flying core troops some armies can include an awful lot of flying units to attack, divert, whatever. In a game based on maneuvering elements and regiments with a fixed LOS, these elements should be restricted.

If it moves, shoot it!
For the first time, a limit for war machines and models carrying missile weapons has been included. We've tried to find a balance which forbids armies which turn out to be only stand-and-shoot-armies but still allows armies with a good amount of shooting (because some armies rely on shooting to be effective and otherwise, single models would be too powerful).
And - because someone asked: the Anvil is a war machine, the Gyrocopter isn't.

About some of the race-specific restrictions:

Daemons Of Chaos:
We believe the system will at least done down the DoC a bit from the rampage they caused last year. Without additional restrictions, DoC have proved to be simply to powerful for the other armies. We've tried not to restrict them too much, though, as you have to keep in mind that they're playing with some points less and will have their losses "upped" by 10%. This does however, in no way make the DoC an easy opponent, of which we are sure. Let's take a look at one of last years DoC lists:

Apart from having to cope with 250 points less, the triple Horrors would not be possible, the BSB would have to decide between a magic standard or gifts and the Bloodthirster would not be able to reroll all to-hit rolls....we think that's a good start...

Dark Elves:
There's been some discussion about how to categorise the Dark Elves, but we feel, that with the additional restrictions, they should work out ok. With the additional shooting restrictions in place, players will still be able to dish out some serious hurt at long range if they want to, but they won't be able to dominate the game with 120+ shots a turn.

Empire:
The committee has discussed the War Altar/VHS combo, but decided against installing additional restrictions. Apart from being a chariot with all the resulting weaknesses, the War Altar is mostly good against single enemy characters, not against units - which it is not able to break single-handedly. The Empire ist still, even with it's shooting strengths, a "normal" warhammer army subject to psychology rules etc. The new restrictions make Empire SAD armies impossible...and rightly so. With the Steam Tank now taking up both rare slots a combination with the Volley Gun (more firepower) or a second unit of Flagellants (more Unbreakables) are prohibited. Lastly, with the new magic rules, the bound spells from Warrior Priests and the War Altar are less attractive. This is an Empire army from last year:

Now, the army is packing 13 PD, while only being able to use 9 of them. The Steam Tank prohibits the Volley Gun - one war machine less. With 77 shooting models, the army is going to have to cut out quite some missile troops...

Vampire Counts:
Two of the most problematic items have been restricted, but the Vampire COunts are still a force to be reckoned with due to their own special rules. We have however now made a dinstinction for the Helm between WS 7 (lord) and WS 6 (hero). With 250 points less, VC players will struggle a bit more than last year...but since they didn't really struggle at all last year, this should be okay.



As a last comment: We really believe this system will work and that it will improve the ETC playing environment. We know that some of you don't like the restrictions or think that some stuff is restricted too much/not enough. We can only ask you to give the new AR a chance, because we believe that the system will convince you if you see it in use in 2009.

Ευχαριστω πολυ για το ενδιαφερον και για τις λιστες. Θα τα πουμε με ολους απο κοντα.

Οι παρακατω δεν μου εχουν στειλει λιστα και πραγματικα δεν ξερω τον λογο. Περα οτι εχουν ενημερωθει , εφαγαν -λογικα- και αρκετο σπαμ απο τους υπολοιπους για να στειλουν.

ΥΓ1. Οσοι εχουν πολεμικες μηχανες , παρακαλω να τις βαλουν σε βαση 50x50 αλλα τις round bases του 40k. Δεν ξερω πως τις λενε Smile Smile Smile . Ετσι θα πρεπει να ειναι ολες οι πολεμικες μηχανες απο εδω και περα στο ETC για να αποφευγουμε τα "στριμοξιδια" και το "α βλεπει να να απο το pivot" .

ΥΓ2. Παρακαλω τους admins lock μεχρι την Κυριακη το βραδυ μετα του τουρνουα.
