Greek politicians Army! A GW OFFICIAL army list!

army wide special rules

-Mnemoniacs: When a GP (Greek Politicians) unit is within 6 inches of an Empire or Brettonian Army, the enemy has the hatred,frenzy and stubborn special rule.
-Supreme Lamogia: GP army characters are masters of Deception. Every character during a challenge can nominate a magic item of the opposition. The item is effectively destroyed.
-Stupid followers: Every regiment of Greek Voters that is led by a Greek Politician character is subject to the rules of stupidity.

-Greek animosity. Some units if they dont have the same mark of Political Party are subject to animosity. Roll a d6. On a 1 the unit turns and charges the other unit. Resolve the close combat as normal. Both units are frenzied and have the hatred special rule.

Marks of Politics. 10 pts each
-The mark of Pasok. Then unit gets to carry a magic banner (looted) with no points restrictions.
-The mark of New Democracy. The unit has +2 movement (Lagos speed) but suffers from -2 leadership (panivlakes).
-The mark of Golden Dawn. The unit has +1S,+1T but the stupidity special rule.
The mark of Tsipras. The unit's champions are the supreme fighters, called "Syndikales". As long as they are alive the are unbreakable, have toughness 5 and 5 Attacks with strength 5.

-Greek Voter. 2 pts per model. S3, t3, a1, w1, ini1,M 6 ld 6
Upgrade a Voter to a Afisokoliti for 10 pts (counts as a standard bearer)
Upgrade a Voter to a Lamogio for 10 pts (counts as a champion)

Special rules:
-"Stupid Follower". See 1st paragraph
-"Supreme Backstabbers". When a Greek Voter unit is within 3 inches of another Greek unit with a different mark then both are subject to Greek animosity.
Upgrades: The unit may carry shields for 1pt/model, Great Kadronia (count as Great weapons) for 2pts per model.

-"Elite Ouga Bouga". Such is the fury of a Prasinofrouros that when an enemy unit has a blue color the unit;s berserk rage kicks in fighting with double it's attacks.

The unit may be marked with "Great Afises of the Green Sun". Thrown weapon. If one hits the enemy has the ASL special rule and is at -1 to hit next round.

-"Hail to Glyksbourg". Akrodeksioi hate democracy and believe that the country should be ruled by a king. To represent this they never get to use the generals inspiring presence or the hold your ground special rule from the BSB.
-"Pirame tin Poli". Such is the mania of the Akrodeksioi charge that they have the impact hits (d3) special rule.

-"O laos den ksexna ti simainei deksia". If the unit is within 12 inches of a unit with the New Democracy mark, the unit gains the stubborn special rule.
-"We shall never ever govern". Aristeroi units never get to use the generals inspiring presence or the hold your ground special rule from the BSB.
Should they are beaten in close combat and fail their break test they are automatically removed as casaulties.¨

Special Rules
-Eternal Ipekseresi! Lamogia always infiltrate enemy cities no matter what. If an Ipekseretis is present in the unit roll a D6 at the start of the battle to see what type of ipekseresi the enemy is subject to

-1: Crazy but ...honest. The unit is honest much to the generals despair.
-2: Ministry of Culture ypekseresi. The army is less hatred. Therefore all enemy units loose the frenze and hatred rules of they have it.
-3: Ministry of Health ypekseresi. The enemy army has -1 to it's movement.
-4: Ministry of Agriculture ypekseresi. The enemy army treats all terrain as difficult terrain.
-5: KYSEA ipekseresi. The enemy's weapons are tampered therefore losing ALL special rules they might have.
-6: YPEXODE ipekseresi. Visions of the Great Laliotis fall uppon the enemy. Buildings will collapse on a 4+, fences and walls are destroyed and all units within a stone feature take d6 s5 hits.

-Mixed unit. The Clouva is a chariot in all respects. However it can carry up to 5 matatzides :

A matatzis has the mark of Xrysi Avgi, caries a master crafted rubber globe (armor piercing hand weapon), wears GADA armor (5+ armor, 5+ ward save) and carries a matazis shield (5+ armor save). When the clouva is engaged in combat all 5 matatzides strike as they disembark and engage they enemy's flanks.
-Hidden koukouloforoi. Upgrade one matatzis in a clouva to a Hidden Koukouloforos for 50points. See the rules for assasins in the Dark Elf army book. The hidden koukouloforos may purchase one of the following :

Great Molotof of Doom. Place the large template and roll for scatter. Each model takes a s4 flaming hit cauzing d3 wounds and forcing an immediate panik test.
Holly Globe of Mixaloliakos. The bearer gets +3A and the devastating charge special rules.

-Stare of Agelada. Pavlopoulos stares his enemies to death. In the shooting face he gets the multiple shots (2d6) s4 special rule. Range 6 inches.

2-3: "Burn the capitalists": vs Empire and Brettonian armies the unit gains the killing blow special rule. Versus all others they gain the flaming attacks special rule.
4-5: "Stop Working:" The unit moves at half speed. But it gains the unbreakable special rule.
6: "Protopapas FTW!: The chief Syndikalas transforms into a Protopapas Greater Daemon. Consult the Daemons army book and use the Keeper of Secrets profile.

Any Greek Lamogio Vouleftis may be upgraded to a Priest of Syriza for +70 pts. The priest has the following rules

-"Eternal paparologia". Eternal words of no meaning can really drive enemies into suicide. Pick an enemy unit. That unit must roll a leadership test
or flee exactly as it has failed a panic test.
-"Blessings of Ugo Chavez". The priest and the unit he is with gain a 5+ ward save.
The priest may carry Great Molotof bombs for +10 pts.
Egathetoi Wizards of Deksia
Any Greek Lamogio Vouleftis may be upgraded to an Egathertos Wizard of Deksia for +70 pts. The wizard has the following rules
-level 2 Caster. He must choose spells from the lore of Mnimonio.
-Unstoppable Recession Force. No matter what the wizard is a force of recession for the enemies. For each spell that the wizard passes at an enemy unit it's leadership is lowered by one point until the wizard's next magic phase.
An Egathetos Wizard of Deksia may carry
-Papadopoulos Tattoo markings for +10 pts (magic resistance 2)
-Mitsotakis books of the awfull curse for +20 pts. An enemy wizardwithin 12 inches may reroll it's miscast result

- "Father Paisios Holy Engine". Visions of Paisios engulf the enemy who find it impossible to strike the Patriarch. All enemy units in base contact receive -2 to hit in close combat (+75 pts)

THE SUPREME LORE OF DIAPLOKI
-Lore Attribute: Nomos peri efthinis Ypourgon. Greek Politicians are notoriously capable of escaping harms way, no matter what unspeakable odds
they are facing. They can dodge a cannonball, skip a killing blow, evade impact hits. To represent this, every time a spell from the Lore of Diaploki is cast, the caster permanently increases his ward save by +1, to a maximum of 2+.

Signature Spell: Gnostoi - Agnostoi. Cast on 7+
Greek koukoloforoi are known amongst all armies. However, for some reason they seam to escape death and go unnoticed in every battle, infiltrating enemy units and assassinating character. Pick any enemy rank and file model within 24 inches. The model drops the koukoula and is assumed to be a gnostos agnostos. He may immediately strike any other model in base contact with +1A. He mantains the same equipment. After the strikes are resolved the fresh gnostos-agnostos model is removed from play.


1. Tsovola dos ta Ola. Cast on 8+. Pick a friendly unit anywhere on the field. The unit may reroll misses in close combat until the start of the casters
next magic phase.
2. The Vatopedio Scandal. cast on 9+. Pick a friendly unit within 36. The unit treats all terrain as open ground until the start of the casters next magic phase.
3. The Stock Market Scandal. Cast on 10+. Pick an enemy unit within 24 inches. The target has -2 Leadership and must reroll succesfull rolls of to hit and to wound. Remains in play.
4. The Siemens Scandal. Cast on 12+. Cast on the wizard and only if he is on Foot. The wizard trasforms himself to a Christoforakos Greater Daemon. Profile found in Daemons Book under the section "Great Unclean One".
5. The Scandal of ASEP. Cast on 13+. Pick a single Greek Voter trooper anywhere on the table. The trooper automatically is turned to a Chief Greek Syndikala who counts as a character in all respect.
6. Tzochatzopoulo-goria!! Cast on 20+. All enemy magic items, deamonic gifts, Vampiric items, gifts of chaos become visible, within 24 inches. The caster may steal any of these and use it for himself.


THE ULTIMATE LORE OF MNIMONIO

Lore Attribute: Ultimate Recession. Lore of Mnemonio is very disturbing for enemy troops, messing with enemy minds and assaulting them with unstoppable force. To represent this all sniping spells from the lore of Mnimonio result in a permanent -1 leadership reduction of the chosen target.

Signature Spell: Kastelorizo. Cast at 10 +
An enemy unit within 48 inches has -1 to leadership, movement, initiative, WS and BS until the start of the casters next magic phase.

1. The touch of Merkel Cast on a 7+. The caster becomes the Avatar of the Godess of Darkness and Bazila A.Merkel, hitting his chosen foe with a mind blast. Pick an enemy character within 24 and roll 2d3. From the result subtract the characters weapon skill. The character suffers the difference in wounds, re rolling any successful ward saves.
2. The Voice of Giorgos. Cast on 9+. The caster stands in front of the Corruption God, G Papandreou summoning his dark powers. The enemies are struck with terrible smite, visions of poverty and mizery fill their minds tearing them apart. Roll 2d6 and subtract the worst enemy leadership within 24 inches. All Enemy units within 24 suffer the difference in wounds.
3. The first paketo stiriksis. Cast on 12+. Pick any unit of Greek Voters (only), anywhere on the table. They are infused with false images of hope and profit, thus thinking that they are immune to pain. The unit immediately makes a march move and has +1 S, +1 T till the start of the casters next magic phase.
4. The second paketo Stiriksis. Cast on 13+. Greek Voters think that they are finally free of poverty and mizery, visions of greatness fill their minds! They think that death is impossible, and can down even the mightiest of foes. Any single unit of Greek Voters on the table has WS10, ini 10 and will automatically pass any required leadersip tests!
5. The Daneiaki Simvasi Cast on 19 + The might of Greek Politicians is joined by the Rage of their Dark Gods, Merkel, Sharkozi, Fouxtel and Soible! Pick a friendly unit with 48. The unit fights with triple his attacks characteristic and with double his strength! But, since the Dark Gods are tricky immediately after the end of the following close combat phase the unit suffers 2d6 wounds with no saves of any kind from the sacrifices made to the Dark Gods!
6. THE HUGE KSEPOULIMA Cast on 25+
Corruption strike through the entire battlefield. Misery and death cloak the enemy. Recession strikes their hearts, fear of komounismos fill them all.
All enemy shooting is at -2 to hit. All enemies have their weapon skill and ballistic skill reduced by 1. Movement is halved and each enemy unit treats all terrain as difficult failing dangerous terrains at 1,2,3. Armor turns to dust as the ksepoulima destroys enemy armor. enemy armor saves are lowered by -1 permanently. Finally such is the awesome power of the huge ksepoulima that every enemy magic item item in the battlefield will be destroyed on a 4+. However units of the Empire and Brettonia are totally immune to the effects of this spell.


Special Characters

Generic Rules: Greek special characters are subject to the lista Langard special rule. Roll a d6 for each special character in the army. The first that rolls a "1" is found to be in the Lista Langard ceremony, a ceremeony so old that even Stupid Greek Voters denote! To represent this this character will immediately suffer d3 wounds with no saves of any kind allowed from the mania of the Greek Voters.

-Mazi ta fagame. The Daemon PAGHAL' OSSH tricks his followers making them think that they are big and ugly as he is. To represnt this, the supreme Daemon may join any unit of Greek Politicians army and benefit from a lokk out Politician roll no matter if he is of troop type monster.
-Greeks are koprits. The Daemon hates all who fail in the battlefield. In fact he hates all life forms sworn to devour everythingin his path. To represent this PAGHAL' OSSH may eat d6 Greek Voters at the start of any phase, gaining 1 wound lost earlier in the battle.
-"AAAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHHHHH"
PAGHAL' OSSH is a huge creature towering above all else. Steam tanks look like pump wagons, cavalry look like swarms and large targets seem like war beasts to him. To represent this PAGHAL' OSSH thunderstomps against all types of enemy units. Even Dragons are crushed beneath his mighty jaws!

-The Great Gourounopoulo. The Great Gourounopoulo is believed to raise the Daemons Strength to super human levels. It counts as a great Weapon and adds +2 To PAGHAL' OSSH strength.

Knight Commander Mi-Cha-Lo-Lia-Ko, The herald of Adolfos, the Plague of Pakistan, the Doom of Omonoia

Special Rules:
-Ultimate Fasistoskilo: Knight Commander is the supreme lord of all things akrodeksia. Therefore he can only join a unit of the Knights of the Golden Dawn.
-Egerthito! Knights of the Golden Dawns political fanatism raises to unspeakable levels when the Knight Commander leads them. As long as he is leading them they have the hatred special Rule. Should the Knight Commander be slain they are subject to frenzy.
-And they shall know no spear.. As long as the knight commander leads the Knights of the Golden Dawn, such is their political frenzy that enemy weapons seem to loose their effectiveness. Strength bonuses from weapons have no effect against the Knight Commander or his Knights.
-Barbarousis. Karaiskakis Barbarousis is Knighr Commanders loyal Steed, with the following rules

-Great heti of Barbarousis The knights commander loyal steed uses his great heti to Shield and annoy enemies. All enemy models in base contact have -1 to their WS.

Magic Items:
The armor of Patakos. This ancient armor set was once a proud belonging of the Famous Greek Dictaror patakos. Mi-cha-lo-lia-kos stumble uppon Patakos ancient tomb in one of his PAkistani-raids and after defeating the ancient Daemon guarding this Tomb (Kouvelaji) he took the armor for himself. The armor grants the Knight commander a 1+ armor and a 4+ ward save.
The Sword of Papadopoulos. This powerful blade was a gift of the ancient Greek Dictator Papadopoulos who was impressed by the Knights commander martial prowess. It grants the bearer +1 Strength and the ASF special rule.
- The pelt of Grizoi Likoi . Grants the knight commander with magic resistance 2.
