Chapter 1 Prelude

" In a small planet, very similar to Terra, in the depths of the Milky Way Galaxy that remain unexplored, unknown and extremely dangerous even in the 41st Millennium, a dark secret lies. A secret that if it is ever revealed the war in the years to come will change forever...."

All started many years ago in a new world, after the settlement of the Rogue Trader Gunderic Vandal, offspring of the Techno Barbarian clans of Nordyc. As a Rogue Trader he was a unique and powerful human individual who served as a combination of freelance explorer, conquistador and interstellar merchant and warrior for the Imperium of man. A noble and hereditary Imperial servant, who has been given a small fleet of starships, crew, a small contingent of Adeptus Astartes, and troops from the Astra Militarum regiment of Jermani based bloodline. By his side stood a mysterious figure , Gautr Ingaevones, honorable member of the Mssionary.
Gunderic Vandal served in the Imperial navy and was an exceptionally skilled captain of his Vessel and admiral of his fleet. For a short period of time he was a member of the alien hunting Ordo Xenos and after a very successful duty he became a Rogue Trader to roam the stars under the supreme command of the Emperor of mankind and the missionary. In his Warrant of trade, the condition of settlement in a new world was placed, so he could conquer regions that have resisted the attentions of the Missianaria Galaxia. Gautr Ingaevones played an important role in this plan as a secret agent and a power slave of the renegate chaos God Malice.


The eyes of Gautr Ingaevones fell upon a small Terran like planet, Syckon IV. The signs of pure energy very similar to the ones of the ruinous powers of the Eye of Terror, made the fallen heretic priest missionary to lead Gunderic Vandal there and to execute his Warrant of trade through "Hostile negotiation". After conquering the almost primitive world on the small planet, the Rogue Trader established an empire, which grew so fast and became more and more powerful and stronger than any other Rogue Trader that time. Some years later Gunderic established a hive city , named Colognes and his civilization rose in the years to come. Gunderic had 4 sons with his wife Hellena Vandal, Gelimer the Wise, Gunthamund the Brave, Wisimar the Strong and Godigisel the Aspiring. They also named as the Four Princes of New Nordyc.

But...the chaos Gods were lurking in the dark, waiting for the right time to strike....

Gautr Ingaevones of the Missionary became a chaplain after an act of bravery and warfare in a battle against Xenos Orks in the planet. He embraced the new rank with honor, after the the blessing of the Emperor and became the leader of the Church of the Emperor's will in the city of Colognes. He also became a leader of many secret expeditions on the small planet, with the cause of revealing the source of the great arcane powers he had felt in the past. But God Malice was the one who was rooted in his heart and soul, eager to find the source. The chaplain recruited a Command squad of eleven Adeptus Astartes, the Spectres of Syckon, he dyed their armors Black and White and led them to the feral surface of the yet not explored planet. A small platoon of guardsmen accompanied them to their cause. Through the years they have discovered things, which were kept secret and the hearts of the expeditionary men fell into the powers of Malice. At some point Gautr returned to Colognes and started a cult under the name of "Claws of Malice" and left orders to secretly expand through the loyal men of Colognes. Soon after he departed again to reunited with his men at the frost Mountain region of Syckon IV called Nifelheim.

The Claws of Malice very soon gain many cultists, followers of the renegade God Malice and bloodsheds, gore and cannibalism spread through out the dark corners of the Hive City. Finally many turned and they forgot the Emperor and the Golden throne, as also the life of the Imperium and the chaos God was the true ruler of the people's mind.

Gunderic saw the corruption but it was to late. He waged a war against the chaotic cult but at this point the cult had successfully infiltrate through strategic positions of the city council, military ranks,in the Emporium and in the Communication Relays Sectors, so stress calls never reached Terra and help, never came. Finally Gautr Ingaevones, returned to the hive city where war was at a close end, and he killed Gunderic in a challenge, where the last words of the dying Rogue Trader..."Emperor protects..." haunted Gautr for ever. Gautr now under a new name, Gautr Gorekin, a High level Dark Apostle, executed Hellena and ordered his cult to hunt down and kill the four Princes of New Nordyc.

Gelimer, Gunthamund, Wisimar and Godigisel mustered their remaining loyal forces, of Adeptus Astartes, Guardsmen and Imperial enforcers, and through their last stand, the High Church of the Emperor's Will fought back the waves of cultists attackers and renegate space marines. The four brothers fought well against their enemies but the vast numbers of the Claws of Malice crushed them like a hammer. But before the end ....time stood still suddenly and bright light washed every dark place outside the church. It was the time that the Four Gods of Chaos arrived. In a telepathic state each God spoke to the heart and mind of the four brothers, and they promised them the power to defeat their enemies and avenged the deaths of their beloved parents as a trade of their blind faith to them. It was then when Gelimor chose Tzeentch, Gunthamund chose Khorne, Wisimar chose Nurgle and Godigisel chose Slaanesh. A warp storm merged from nowhere and waves of lesser deamons fell upon the followers of Malice. A vicious battle merged and finally the murderous cult was no more.

After their victory the four brothers separated the planet in four regions and each of them became the ruler of one of them. They were shown the great secret of the planet by the four Chaos Gods and made a blood Oath, never to reveal the secret and protect it from falling in the hands of the Emperor.

Till then the planet is infested with cults of the four Gods, heretics renegades, and daemons who roam the land, seas and mountains free as they would do in their realm of The Eye of Terror.

But the power of the Emperor of mankind is unlimited and even from his Golden Throne he felt the disaster. He ordered his chapter 666 to always storming the fields of the chaotic planet and contaminate the heretical threat and also purge the Daemons, Xenos and Loyals close to corruption, who will lay their feet on that planet, without hesitations. Also Companies of Space Wolves are attacking various regions of the planet in a secret mission, accompanied by Iron Hands of the Clan Raukan and the Salamanders chapters.

Take part in this great Campaign and take the role of one of the many Loyal chapters that chose to reveal the secret of Syckon IV and the heritage of Gunderic Vandal and his siblings as they follow rumors that a Great weapon lays under the surface of the planet, a weapon that will give them the opportunity to change the fate of The Long War, or take the role of the many Renegades or Daemons that roam the infested planet, eager to die before letting loyal warriors to reach the secret of the planet,, or the role of the many Xenos armies that are searching for the great resources of this planet, to help them conquering the Galaxy through war!

Επιτρέπονται : Combined arm Detachments, Allied Detachments, Escalation, Unbound, Dataslates, Formations, Supplements
Κάθε παίχτης δηλώνει ένα main στρατό και από εκεί και έπειτα μπορεί να δηλώσει έναν allied στρατό τον οποίο μπορεί και να μην χρησιμοποιήσει ποτέ.
Κάθε φορά μπορεί να χρησιμοποιεί ΙΔΙΟ ΣΤΡΑΤΟ αλλά διαφορετικό ARMY LIST!
Δεν υπάρχει περιορισμός στο βάψιμο, καλό θα ήταν φυσικά όσο μπορείτε να έχετε βαμμένο στρατό.
Light proxy ok, WYSIWYG μόνο σε όπλα που κρατούν τα μοντέλα.

Terrain set up:

*Every table will have the Warzone traits from the 6th edition rulebook (pg 368-369)
*Except FB,STW,LB there would be also secondary objectives(*soon we will give informatons about them)

In each table one player will role a D3+3 Ruins (4+ cover save), (Games Workshop plastic buildings) and the players will put them in any place they want on the table.
Also one player will roll a D3 for Battlescape, Twisted Corpse, Debris (5+ cover save) and the players will put them in any place they want on the table
Last , one player will roll a D6 for moonscapes and craters (6+ cover save-2+ cover when Go To Ground special rule) and the players will put them in any place they want on the table.

All objectives and Moonscape, Twisted Corpse, Battlescape, Aquila Lander-Crashed Imperial are Dangerous terrain type and mysterious. Main Rulebook pg 188-191.
Imperial Buildings pg 184-187 have special rules as described in the main 40K rulebook.

Fortifications:

Fortification upgrades+ Battlefield Debris+ Fortification Datasheets as described in the Stronghold Assault book of Games Workshop (pgs 15-36)
*special rules from dataslates and supplements are valid!

No Forge World models-RULES. Forge World model can also play if they have WYSIWYG weapon options from the main 40K rulebook.

Escalation=Lords of war and any other rule is described in the book of Escalation by Games Workshop

Scenarios:

Each team's players will play against their opponent team players. (three match ups for each player).
There would be a map divided in 4 sectors.
In each sector, there will be 2 teams fighting each other for total domination of the Sector, that they are in.
There would be only scenarios from Eternal War and no Maelstrom!
Each team will be introduced the scenarios of the Sector before the start of the tournament.
Then the teams can choose whom of its member will fight against the opposite's team member in a scenario from the ones will be introduced. So each team can make a strategy and organize the battles to come.

NPC battles:

There are fixed scenarios for the NPC battles against, Chaos Space Marines, Chaos Daemons, Grey Knights, Spacewolves, Tyranids, Blood Angels, Ultramarines and Necrons (armies that will be played by the Boxes Of War stuff). If a team wins a NPC Battle , then they will earn a great amount of Source Points!

Source Points:

After the first wave of battles from the 8 teams , the 4 winning teams of total domination on their Sector on the map will proceed to the next round. The 4 teams that lost will be eliminated , except one that will have the highest pts after the first round from that 4. That team will have the opportunity to fight back with the one team that managed to proceed to the second round but which has the lowest pts.

After the final team up for the second round come up then the teams will have their chance of using their Source Points.

Each result of the team's battles give up an extra source pts pool that players can exchange to gain access to Artifacts of The Campaign, as a result of their supremacy

The Artifacts have special rules from the main Rulebook of 40K 7th Edition and the players will learn them in the beginning of the first wave of battles.
